[TFE #02] Navigating Burnout as a Creator + Events You Should Not Miss
The internet’s better side, in your inbox from a mindful voice that writes like she talks.
Dearest Gentle Reader,
It's Friday, and you know what that means? Extra Time for The Friday Extra! 😉
I’m still buzzing from last week’s relaunch! Thank you so much for all the support, love, and encouragement you shared. It means the world. While it’s a little bittersweet that some unsubscribed (and I completely understand they may have different needs), it warms my heart to see so many new subscribers and readers still with me. Your support is everything, and I’m excited to continue providing value to you all!
Just curious, did you ever wonder why I went completely quiet? No new weekly issues, no YouTube content, no consistent activities on social media?
If you did, you’re not wrong. I hit a wall. A very real one called burnout. And honestly? I didn’t see it coming until it was already here.
Between the pressure to always "show up," keeping up with trends, launching new things, and just, you know... being a human, I needed a moment (or a few) to step back, breathe, and reset.
And in the spirit of being honest with you, I’m glad I did. Because now I’m showing up refreshed, more intentional, and genuinely excited to build with you again.
The good thing about life is that you can always hit that reset button and decide to start all over again and experience things all over again. You may lose some things like age, time, etc, but guess what? You can still make the most of what you have at any stage and live the best days of your life.
Creator burnout is real, especially when you keep pouring out to others without also investing more in yourself. If you ever hit that rock bottom and feel the need to step back and breathe, by all means, just do it. Protect your energy at all costs, and you will be fine.
I'd love to hear from you, though. Have you ever experienced burnout in your creative work? Hit reply and tell me about it, or just let me know you’re here. I read every message.
What I have been up to this past week:
Live Streams: I’ve launched my weekly YouTube Livestream sessions to share nothing but value in the creator, productivity, and tech space. In general, the channel is back up with fantastic content and batched into various playlists for easy identification. You can catch the replays and subscribe here.
New Digital Products: Not last week, but our digital storefront has been up for a while. You can view our current products here.
Behind-the-scenes growth: I have also been working on things like upgrading my workflows, creating new templates, and testing new tools, and I’ll be sharing more about it with you in the upcoming newsletter issues.
